Our team worked with Le Jardin Floral, a high end European style florist based out of Rochester, Minnesota that specializes in wedding flowers. Our team re-designed their website and managed their online marketing efforts which included a combination of search engine optimization and email marketing.
Website Redesign
When our team re-designed the website we built it around the idea of showcasing their impressive collection and portfolio of arrangements. This involved building a clean and elegant photo gallery solution, while also integrating in popular features like social sharing. We built a easily update-able photo gallery that allows website visitors to share the beautiful arrangements on popular websites like Pinterest and Facebook with one click.
Additionally, we built in a full featured E-Commerce solution that allowed the customer to sell their products online. The main goal of the system was to make it as easy as possible for the client. To achieve this we made things like invoice printing, payment processing, and order tracking all automated so all the client had to do was check their email periodically to see the new orders. The system was also very simple to update and expand. We were able to teach the client how to add new products, pictures, and more in a short 15 minute meeting.
Marketing Results
One of the main goals we had with this project, as we do with every project, was to drive more customers and sales to our client. Following our teams initial market research we determined the most effective way to achieve this was through a search engine optimization (SEO) marketing campaign. This involves developing an offline link portfolio for the client which in turn helps the clients website rank well in the search engines for a variety of targeted terms.
For instance, with Le Jardin Floral we built a campaign targeting terms such as Rochester Minnesota Wedding Florist & Minnesota Wedding Flowers. Within the first month our client ranked #1 for the local term of Rochester MN Wedding Florist and on the first page for the broader term targeting all of Minnesota!
Probably the most impressive result from the entire project was the fact that the clients website ranked first overall for the term European Style Florist!
